This is a distressing time for all of us and we know that many of you are affected by travel restrictions, social distancing, and the transition to remote learning. Please seek out support if you are feeling distressed. We will post information that we have shared with graduate students on this website and update periodically with resources and guidance as more information becomes available.

The Graduate College is pleased to announce that six graduate students will be receiving the prestigious Marshall Foundation Dissertation Fellowship and one graduate student will receive the Dr. Maria Teresa Velez Marshall Dissertation Fellowship for final-phase dissertation support. In addition to a stipend from the Louise F. Marshall Foundation and the Graduate College, each student will receive student health insurance for the term of the award and a Graduate Tution Scholarships for up to 2 semesters.

24th Annual Undergraduate Research Opportunities Consortium (UROC) Poster Session and Closing Ceremony
The 24th Annual UROC Research Conference and Poster Session features exciting projects by 180 graduate school bound
undergraduate students from schools across the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Latin America. These
outstanding scholars participated in a 10-week intensive summer research experience under the supervision of a UA
faculty mentor and conducted research in the sciences, social sciences, engineering, education and humanities. UROC
The Graduate College encourages students to prepare for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) through formal or informal instruction and study, as appropriate to the individual. For those students seeking professional assistance, one option to consider is a workshop led by Michael Flynn, Executive Director of Grad Pros Educational Consulting. Mr. Flynn has facilitated GRE workshops on the UA campus since 2000 and has received consistently positive feedback.
There are three components to this workshop.
The University of Arizona is sending leaders from the main campus in Tucson, Arizona to cities around the world in March and April 2019. These individuals represent both undergraduate and graduate admissions. In many locations, there will also be representatives from the International Student 3分11选5计划 office to discuss immigration policies and UA’s concierge-level of support for international students.

The Graduate College is pleased to announce a workshop series on “Graduate Mentoring”. Faculty mentors play a key role in the success of graduate students. Mentoring not only pertains academic guidance, but also the establishment of a prolonged nurturing of the student’s personal, scholarly and professional development. The workshop is aimed at faculty, DGSs and department heads.
The Graduate College is pleased to announce that six graduate students will be receiving the prestigious Marshall Foundation Dissertation Fellowship and one graduate student will receive the Dr. Maria Teresa Velez Marshall Dissertation Fellowship for final-phase dissertation support. In addition to a stipend from the Louise F. Marshall Foundation, each student will receive a tuition scholarship for two semesters from the UA Graduate College.
